Your epic safari adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Arusha hotel. After a comprehensive safari briefing and equipment check, we drive approximately 2 hours southwest to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant populations and iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape.
Experience your first full day of game driving in Tarangire, where the permanent Tarangire River attracts massive concentrations of wildlife during the dry season. Watch elephants in family groups of up to 300 individuals, observe tree-climbing pythons, and spot the park's famous lions. The diverse habitats support over 550 bird species and abundant plains game.

After an early breakfast, we journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending the crater highlands with spectacular views. We'll pass through the crater rim before descending into the Serengeti plains. The 4-hour drive takes you through diverse landscapes and traditional Maasai villages.
Welcome to the legendary Serengeti! Game drive through the endless plains searching for the Big Five. The Seronera area in central Serengeti offers year-round excellent wildlife viewing with resident predators, large herbivore populations, and incredible bird diversity. Watch for cheetahs on termite mounds scanning for prey.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the magnificent Serengeti. Optional early morning game drive to catch predators during their most active hunting period, followed by a return to camp for breakfast. Continue with extensive game drives throughout the day, maximizing your wildlife encounters.
Spend the full day tracking wildlife across different habitats. Visit the Seronera River for hippos and crocodiles, explore kopjes where leopards rest, and scan the plains for cheetahs. If visiting during migration season (December-July), witness millions of wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will track recent predator sightings to maximize your chances of witnessing hunts.

After breakfast and a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, we journey toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, optional visit to Olduvai Gorge, the "Cradle of Mankind" where the Leakey family made groundbreaking archaeological discoveries. Arrive at the crater rim by late afternoon.
Morning game drive in Serengeti before departure gives you one last chance to spot wildlife you may have missed. The afternoon drive through the Ngorongoro highlands offers stunning landscapes and occasional wildlife sightings including eland, buffalo, and zebra grazing on the crater rim.

Very early morning descent (6:00 AM) into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After 5-6 hours exploring the crater floor, we ascend and drive to Lake Manyara for an afternoon game drive before returning to Arusha.
The Ngorongoro Crater hosts the highest density of predators in Africa and offers your best opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros. The crater's natural enclosure ensures excellent Big Five sightings. Later, Lake Manyara offers tree-climbing lions, vast flamingo flocks, and diverse birdlife in a compact area.
After the Lake Manyara game drive, we begin our journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening with incredible memories and thousands of photos from your 5-day Tanzanian safari adventure.
